The Rapid City Flood: Remembrance + Renewal Accepting artwork: Saturday May 19, 2012 11am - 3pm As part of the citywide commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the flood of 1972, the Rapid City Arts Council is coordinating a collaborative exhibit project with the Dakota Artists Guild. This project is designed to give voice to our community of visual artists in the way they communicate best. To participate in this project, artists are asked to bring 1 piece of art featuring or having something to do with tragedy, loss, renewal and/or rejuvenation to the Dahl Arts Center on Saturday May 19, 11am-3pm Click HERE for all the info. |
