Mavis Anderson is a devoted and serious self-taught artist who has been working out of her home studio since the mid-sixties. She has been pursuing several creative mediums simultaneously since the beginning of her career. This show is primarily made up of Mavis’s paintings and “spirit figures”.
Jeremy Fields Presentation

Jeremy Fields is a descendent of the Kitkehaki band of the Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma, the Ties the Bundle clan of the Crow Tribe of Montana, and the Chickasaw Tribe of Oklahoma.A self taught artist of multiple disciplines, he is an accomplished muralist, painter, beadworker, photographer and graphic designer. His work is centered around cultural aesthetics, always aiming to communicate lessons and stories through his expression. Throughout his upbringing and travels, he has been heavily influenced by the numerous tribes he’s encountered and their respective craftsmanship which has allowed him to produce work that resonates cross culturally. His work is centered around creating visual interpretations of indigenous philosophy as a means of cultural preservation and to bring traditional wisdom to present context by combining traditional motifs with modern techniques and design styles.
FREE Noon Holiday Concerts

Come get into the Holiday spirit with our Noon Holiday Concerts! Admission is free, and you will enjoy complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies as you listen to the tunes of the season. December 4th we will be featuring the "Big Band Sound" of the Rapid City New Horizons Band, followed by a festive a Capella performance by the Shrine of Democracy Chorus on December 11th.
Gaming Night (RPG)
2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month | 6-9pm
(Located in Dahl Basement, please use Kansas City Street entrance)
Learn to play tabletop RPG's using gaming systems like Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, early edition White Wolf, and more. Develop characters, create a team, and work together to save the world! Players can pick pre-rolled characters or create their own and play in exciting one-night games run by a GM who has been gaming for over 30 years. Grab your imaginary sword, shield, and supplies and come see what's on the other side of the mountain!
