Dazzle the Community Through Your Sponsorship
|
Sponsoring our programming means filling our halls with laughter and creativity, and our local neighborhoods with artistic opportunity and a greater sense of community.
This summer, the Rapid City Arts Council is bringing together families and friends to enjoy the art of dilly dallying. To see, do, and linger. The best that life has to offer is often in the moments where we slow down and truly immerse ourselves, so we invite you to Dilly Dally at the Dahl. Our annual community appreciation night will delight. Enjoy a night of art activities, performances, snacks, drinks, amazing art, and more! Because of supporters like you, we’ve welcomed over 10,000 visitors since the beginning of 2025, hosted exhibitions from established and emerging artists, offered low-cost art classes for children and adults, highlighted local performing artists, and created a place where creativity thrives. When you sponsor our programming, your gift to the Rapid City Arts Council is directly invested into Rapid City’s vibrant cultural epicenter. Your gift, no matter the size, makes an immediate and lasting impact. Stop to smell the flowers, enjoy art, and help us make it happen! Dilly Dally to the Dahl this summer! Thank you for believing in the arts. Victorie Wilson, Development Director |
Tailings TalkThe Adelstein Gallery will feature Tailings, an exhibition featuring artwork from Land Report Collective and guest-curated by Marty Two Bulls Jr., who will be present to speak with visitors about the work and exhibition.
The artwork focuses on the impact of human development and agricultural production on natural landscapes, environmental issues related to the extraction of natural resources, and industrial manipulation of wild places, particularly relating to the landscape in and around Rapid City and the Black Hills. |
A Night of Culture
In the Mark & Carolyn Mollers Cyclorama Room, 20-minute performances will begin at 5:30pm, 6pm, and 6:30pm featuring the Moreno Family Dancers, Catalyst, and an additional performance to be announced.
Moreno Family Dancers
The Moreno Family Dancers are led by Jeremiah Moreno (Oglala Lakota) who leads the Stampede Drum Group. Traveling the nation to compete in powwows, the Moreno family consists of accomplished singers and dancers. Showcasing traditional and contemporary song and dance, Jeremiah also shares the cultural significance of everything that they share.
Catalyst
Catalyst Theater Company, a non-profit organization based in downtown Rapid City, will perform a short production with several cast members. Founded in 2023, Catalyst was created to meet the need for an intimate space for artists and audiences to share story-driven theater in our community and RCAC is proud to have worked closely with their team on several projects.
