The work of the Rapid City Arts Council is supported by donations from our members, generous donors, corporations and foundations, earned income from classes + events, from services we provide to artists, arts organizations and the community, from program grants and by fundraisers.

A partnership that works. 
The Dahl building operations are supported through a partnership between the Rapid City Arts Council and the City of Rapid City. Money for building operations is earned through facility rentals + dollars allocated for the public building from the city budget for utilities, maintenance and building staff.  These dollars do not support the art activities that happen at the Dahl.  However, they are integral to making use of the building affordable for artists, arts organizations and community members.
