This annual juried photography competition sponsored by the Rapid City Arts Council and the Rapid City Journal is part of the Dahl Mountain Culture Festival. The exhibition will be on display in the Inez and Milton Shaver Gallery at the Dahl Arts Center from April 1 - May 7, 2016 during the Dahl Mountain Culture Festival.

3rd Annual Dahl Mountain Poetry Competition
We invited local and regional writers to participate in the 3rd Annual Dahl Mountain Poetry Competition. This poetry competition was open to all ages. Entries must be about mountain culture and poems should be 25 lines or less. Any style of poetry was acceptable.

In 5 years Randy Ericksen has gone from filming a local team for Primal Quest Badlands to "LegendaryRandyEricksenFilms" a brand known everywhere in the Adventure Race world. He has shot races all around the US, Switzerland, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and Belize.
A former professional cyclist, mountain bike world champion, and ultra trail runner, Randy brings an unique vision to filming. Join us for a night of films, pictures and stories of Adventure racing, trail running, mountain biking, and playing in the Black Hills. It will be an informal night of Q and A that will be recorded for his podcast TA1.
Randy is videoing our Dahl Mountain Poetry Competition winners and will be screening these films during his presentation.
