Adult Workshops

Whether you’re a seasoned musician or a novice, you’ll want to take advantage of the opportunity to hone your skills with lessons from the pros.  As always, the festival offers an array of Saturday morning workshops hosted by the performers. Sessions begin at 9a.m. Please check the festival schedule for individual times.  Participation is free with a festival ticket.

Kid's Fiddle Workshop

The Black Hills Bluegrass Festival is offering the opportunity for kids to participate in a fiddle workshop on Saturday at Mystery Mountain Resort.  This will be an opportunity for kids of all skill levels to experience the fun of fiddle music.  Even if they have never played an instrument before they will be able to pick up an instrument and feel the joy of making music. 

 Purchase of a ticket for the afternoon show (1:30 to 5), $14 in advance, will entitle you to the workshops and afternoon concert. Kids under 12 will be admitted free but must be accompanied by a paid adult.
